There are many filmmakers who motivate me, competition rarely enters my mind. I believe filmmakers work on different levels, like children in school, as they gain experience they move on to the next grade. I guess that's my goal, to always take it a step further, you know? To the next grade. I just don't find any reason to be compete. That's all.

We're all born the same, without anything.

I never thought I'd do well with short films. I'm more comfortable with features. It's kind of like relationships, I'm more of a long term type guy.

People tend to hold out and wait for the perfect opportunity to come around. Whether it be a career move, a step forward in a relationship, or even a trip they've been planning. But what if they dismiss an opportunity that can potentially serve them well? What if their preconceived idea of a perfect opportunity isn't perfect at all?

In the dark times of life, courage is most important.
