Licentiate's Degree in Biochemistry and Master's Degree from the Faculty of Sciences and Technology of the University of Coimbra, Grand-Cross of the Ancient, Most Noble and Enlightened Military Order of Saint James of the Sword, of the Scientific, Literary and Artistic Merit.

Her former boyfriends include Portuguese television presenter Miguel da Costa Domingues, between 2009 and 2011, Dom Diogo Machado da Silva Pereira Coutinho (b. Lisbon 3 July 1981), youngest son of entrepreneur Dom Vasco Manuel de Quevedo Pereira Coutinho, 1st Marquess of Pereira Coutinho by Don Juan Carlos I, King of Spain, on 7 April 2011, between 2011 and 2012, and soccer player André Filipe Bernardes Santos, between June 2012 and December 2018.

Winner of the Portuguese Supermodel of the World in 1998, having represented Portugal in the international version of the contest, in 2001, she was elected Miss Portugal and, in May 2002, she participated in the 51st Edition of the Miss Universe pageant, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in which she obtained no score. After winning the Miss Portugal pageant she was hired by Elite Model Management agency, had participations in events such as Moda Lisboa and Portugal Fashion and was the cover of GQ Portugal magazine.

Born in the Parish of Ovar at 23 hours and 10 minutes, daughter of David de Oliveira Lamarão, from Ovar, Ovar, of 35 years old, and his wife Maria Teresa Brandão da Silva, from Oliveira de Azeméis, Travanca, of 28 years old, both residents at the Rua Alexandre Herculano, 124, in Ovar, paternal granddaughter of João Ferreira Lamarão and wife Maria do Carmo Rodrigues de Oliveira and maternal granddaughter of António Marques da Silva and wife Maria da Conceição Pereira Brandão.
