Biography

Will Beall was born on December 10, 1971 in Orange, California, USA. He is a writer and producer, known for Aquaman (2018), Zack Snyder's Justice League (2021) and Bad Boys: Ride or Die (2024).

He wrote a novel, at night, based on his experience as a cop in South Central 90s LA while still a cop, with no idea to get it published. Originally, he intended to write a memoir then changed his mind and made it fictional. He met a guy at a party who was a small time publisher and he asked for a copy. He wanted to publish the novel and wanted to sign Will. Will reconsidered and got an agent who got him a two book deal with Penguin. His novel "L.A. Rex" began his professional writing career. Scott Rudin optioned the book.

He went directly from handing in his badge as a South Central homicide detective to working on Castle.

Did some uncredited re-writes on Venom (2018).
