- Matt Szymanowski is a director, writer, and producer from Northern California. His debut film the dark comedy The Purple Onion (2014) was a Sundance Lab finalist.
He holds a BA in Humanities from Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles, studied film and theater directing at the Polish National Film School in Lodz, Poland, and holds an MFA in Writing for Film and TV from Emerson College in Boston.
