Ana Key Kapaz

Born in São Paulo, Brazil, Ana Key graduated in Film at FAAP and has a M.A. degree in Romance Studies from the Albert-Ludwigs-Universität Freiburg, Germany. She also studied Social Communication, Fine Arts, Animation, Creative Writing and Film & TV Production at Deakin University in Melbourne, Australia, where she also volunteered at the Melbourne Intl' Film Festival and was assistant producer in the Australian feature film Rats and Cats (2007). Back in São Paulo, she worked in several short films and did an internship with Laurent Cardon at the animation studio Citron Vache in 2006. She was graphic artist of the Brazilian feature films Love Is All (2011); Eu e Meu Guarda-Chuva (2010); Jules and Dolores (2016), which won the Kikito for Best Art Direction at the Gramado Film Festival 2016; and Mar de Dentro (2020). A foreign language enthusiast, she is fluent in Portuguese, English, German and Spanish and has knowledge of Italian, French, Russian, Dutch, Japanese and Arabic.
