In the sketch, Piper told Craig's assistant that his writing wasn't funny and took off. Mark comforted the guy, telling him "It's okay, buddy, you're still funny to me." The segment never aired.
- One of 50 candidates interviewed in March of 2005 by Professor Richard Walter for admittance into UCLA's MFA Program in Screenwriting. Though he wasn't admitted, Mark was told at the interview that UCLA only interviews the best of the best of their submissions each year and those not admitted should not feel bad as they got that far. Most students who submit to the MFA each year, the majority of the handful accepted come from the Professional Certificate Program as the faculty are already familiar with them.
