- Homero Guerrero was born on April 10, 1937 in El Popote, Nuevo León, Mexico. He was an actor, known for Las tres tumbas (1980), Cazador de asesinos (1983) and Pistoleros famosos (1981). He died on February 19, 1982 in Nuevo León, Mexico.
- Founder of the group El Acordeón y Bajo Sexto in 1960, that later changed its name to Los Cadetes de Linares. The band became famous when they made a recording in 1974, with a corrido song "Los Dos Amigos", composed by his co-member, Lupe Tijerina.
- He died in a car accident on the Monterrey-Reynosa Highway in the Nuevo León state in Mexico.
