Biography

Joseph Cinemato, is a 2x EMMY Award nominated filmmaker. He holds a Master's Degree in Business Administration (MBA), and is the founder of Lanucana Studios. Joseph's work has been in dozens of International Film Festivals, won numerous awards, and has taken him around the world into some of the most remote locations.

Joseph Cinemato shot a documentary, and did photo journalism in the LRA War Zone in the Congo Jungle of Central African Republic. While there he ate inch long termites with the Zande Tribe, aided in medical procedures, and lived with the US Army Special Forces.

Joseph was training with the Titan Battalion at CSUF to become an Army Infantry Officer when he was notified that a film he produced was inconsideration for the Student Academy Awards. After being notified, he told his commanding officers that he would need to resign from his position in the battalion to pursue film completely. He was given an indefinite leave of absence but strongly encouraged to be back within 6 months. Joseph didn't go back but to this day has a great relationship with all his old commanders and training NCOs. His connections with them later helped him acquire contracts with the Department of Defense including Directing a promotional video for the US Army.
