- Claire Sloma is an American film and stage actress, best known for her acclaimed breakout performance as Maggie in David Robert Mitchell's coming-of-age indie drama, The Myth of the American Sleepover (2010). The film had its World Premiere at the SXSW Film Festival, where the cast took home the Special Jury Prize, before making its International Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in the prestigious Critics' Week section. Sloma earned widespread international acclaim for her performance, winning the Prix d'interprétation Janine Bazin at the Festival International du Film de Belfort in France, as well as the Best Actress (Meilleure Comédienne) award at the in Belgium.
Sloma followed her breakout success with a performance in Mitchell's highly celebrated horror-thriller It Follows (2014) and co-starred as Alma in the lo-fi independent sci-fi drama Future (2016).
