- Visual Effects
Born in Florida, Peter discovered his passion for music early. He composed for his high school marching band and went on to graduate from Ithaca College in 2010, where he also served as a teaching assistant in web design. There, he met collaborator AJ Pinkerton.
The duo launched Random Encounters, a music parody YouTube series that debuted with "Singachu: A Pikachu Song" in June 2011. The channel grew to millions of subscribers, blending video game characters with fresh musical theatrics. Peter wore many hats there: actor, singer, editor, audio engineer, effects designer, and cameraman. He appeared in numerous musical parodies and contributed to sound design and editing for many videos.
In 2017, Peter left Random Encounters, focusing on professional audio work: editing, mixing, mastering, and sound design alongside web design and server administration, the seeds of which were planted all the way back in his teaching assistant job in college. Some of his most notable works outside of RE include Memoir of a Call Girl (2021), In 12 Hours (2020), and Monday Morning (2012).
