Her father was the late Ukrainian-born Soviet-era actor Les Serdyuk and her mother was the late Russian-born Soviet-era actress Irina Bunina. She has used, been credited under, and been known to the public by both of her parents' surnames at various times during her life and career.

She and her former husband, the late Soviet-era actor Georgiy Drozd, had one daughter, actress Klavdiya Drozd, who was born on August 9, 1997, in Kyiv, Ukraine.

Her former marriage with the late Soviet-era actor Georgiy Drozd was known for the large age difference between them. She was almost three decades younger than him. In fact, Georgiy's son with his first wife, actor Maksim Drozd, is only about a month younger than Anastasiya.
