Benjamin Nissen

Biography

  • Benjamin Nissen trained for three years at the school "Ange Magnetic", directed by the director Antoine Campo. His taste for writing allows him to start on stages open to slam, song, or improvisation. At the end of his school training as an actor in 2006, Benjamin took his first steps in the role of professor, in "The Lesson" of Eugene Ionesco, which he played nearly eighty times at the Darius Milhaud theater co-directed by Jean Lespert . Spotted by Daniel Darès, famous director of the Antoine theater, Benjamin is hired by Francis Huster to play in "César, Fanny, Marius", adapted from the works of Marcel Pagnol. He plays the roles of Bosco and Piquoiseau, Antoine theater, and tour, until 2010. These projects on the boards, Benjamin also debuts in front of the camera, in shorts of young directors, or in web-series, which he writes for. It is also Francis Huster who offers him his first words in a cinema movie, in "Un homme et son chien", to play the son of Daniel Prévost and Françoise Fabian, in a scene with Jean Paul Belmondo. Since then, Benjamin has played for television movies,

like "Bas les coeurs" directed by Robin Davis, or "Dommages collatéraux" by Michel Favart, or in series like "No Limit season 3", created by Luc Besson. Recently at the cinema, he played with Gilles Lellouche in "Sous le même toit" by Dominique Farrugia, and with Arnaud Ducret in "Les nouvelles aventures de Cendrillon", and recently he played in the latest film by Jean Pierre Mocky.
