Samantha Jones is an American actor of stage, film, and television, raised in New York City, where she began performing at age nine and trained at The Neighborhood Playhouse and LaGuardia High School for the Performing Arts. She went on to study theater at SUNY New Paltz before returning to New York, where she built a career spanning film, television, and live comedy.
A full-time improviser as well as an actor, Jones developed four solo shows staged at venues including HERE Arts Center, The Nuyorican Poets Cafe, and Gilda’s Club. Her work spans network television, independent film, and dozens of theatrical productions, alongside a robust voiceover career in video games, national commercials, and podcasts.
Jones is the founder of Hudson Valley Improv and creator of the Improv Empowerment method, an actor-driven approach to improvisation rooted in creative freedom, vulnerability, and ensemble connection. She most recently completed the upcoming series Rabbit, Rabbit.
