Creator of The Upside Down Pyramid.

Bryce J. Lemon was born and raised a "Mormon" in Provo, UT. He first experienced a "taste of higher consciousness" when he nearly died of dengue fever as a proselyting missionary in Northeast Thailand. Following this experience, Bryce chose self-excommunication after discovering a hidden mystery school in Salt Lake City. This experience opened his eyes to the reality of the astral and spiritual realms. In less than a year, he completed initiation into the highest grade of the school, but in the end left feeling disenchanted with spirituality in general. He immediately moved to Los Angeles, declaring himself a "hard core" atheist and set out to pursue a career in film. He continued on in these pursuits for a time, founding Apocalypse Pictures in 2007. About a year later, a guide appeared to him in a dream telling him that within a month he would find himself homeless. Sure enough, a month later, Bryce lost his job, his significant other and his home. Seeing this as an opportunity for spiritual exploration, he set out on a magickal adventure across the world- traveling to 28 countries in 10 1/2 months, exploring the sacred temples and sites of the world, living with Natives in Central America, sitting with Zen Masters and seeking entrance into the true and invisible order. He returned to Los Angeles shortly thereafter and successfully completed the award winning* feature documentary "Take it with You" (2012). During this time he completed an additional feature film "In Neon Lights" (2016), but also began deep consciousness exploration with extreme psychedelic drug use. This eventually yielded the results of the devastating but beautiful "Queen of the Vanities: An Exercise in Demon Yoga," published under the pseudonym Poet Unknown. It was at this point he decided to travel to India and Nepal, which would change his life forever. Arriving at the onset of Durga Puja, he was violently attacked near Dakshineswar and barely escaped alive. Taken in for refuge at the temple by the High Priest, Bryce made an offering to Kali and washed himself in the Ganges. From there he set out to Bodh Gaya to retrace the steps of Shakyamuni. During his journey, he was robbed at knife point for the second time and was left for dead miles away from his destination. Making friends with some of the locals, he hitched a ride on the back of a small motorbike to Indrasala Cave. There he remained in meditation for seven days, and then departed to the Temple of the Mahabodhi Tree. He arrived at the Temple as a massive thunderstorm hit. The temple cleared out, but the poet remained. The rest is history.
