Biography

Kyle Scott Wilkinson was born on June 26, 1984 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada. He is a director and writer, known for Slippery Highway (2023), Shave Me from This! (2024) and It Rained That Morning (2025).

Taught English for 4 years in Prague, Czech Republic.

Kyle was an extra in the 2005 film "Capote." He played an audience member in the famous auditorium scene where Philip Seymour Hoffman, as Truman Capote, reads from his "In Cold Blood" manuscript to a New York crowd. The scene, meant to be set in New York City, was actually shot at The Burton Cummings Theater in Winnipeg.

His favorite movie is Citizen Kane.

His favorite filmmaker is David Lean.
