Rodrigo Brazão, ACE is an award-winning film editor whose career spans over a decade and bridges both documentaries and scripted work. Known for his ability to craft emotionally resonant and thought-provoking stories, Rodrigo brings warmth and humanity to every frame he cuts.
He got his start in Rio de Janeiro, where he first fell in love with editing during college and quickly immersed himself in the world of film. In Brazil, he honed his skills on a wide range of projects, from music videos to scripted series and documentaries, developing a keen sense for rhythm and storytelling. Drawn to bigger creative challenges, he moved to the US in 2016, working in New York and Los Angeles. Grounded by his Latino roots and inspired by the people he collaborates with, Rodrigo brings curiosity, heart, and a love of storytelling to every project.
Rodrigo's work has earned critical acclaim, including a New York Emmy for "Dreams from the Deep End," a documentary that celebrates a troupe of senior Black synchronized swimmers, beautifully weaving together art and humanity. His portfolio also features high-profile projects, such as Selena Gomez: My Mind & Me (Apple TV+) and Harry & Meghan (Netflix).
