  • Filmmaker and producer graduated from the Universidad del Valle (Colombia) with a Master in Theory and practice of creative Documentary at the Universidad Autónoma de Barcelona (Spain). She also took part of the Documentary workshop held by the Russian State University of Cinematography - VGIK in Moscow, 2012.

    Her short film Sin decir nada (2007) reaches more than 2 million viewers online and won the Golden India Catalina (Cartagena International Film Festival 2008), the Excellence Prize and the Audience award at the Tokyo Video Festival, among others. It was official selection at Miami Short Film Festival (2009), Phoenix Film Festival (2008), Guadalajara (2008), ISFF Hollywood (2008), Input (2008), Interfilm (2009), among others.

    In 2011, she released Magnolia (2011) filmed in 35 mm with the support of the FDC and the FGAAV. Nominated for Best Cinematography at the Grand OFF Independent Film Awards (Poland), this short film was also part of the Official selection of Sao Paulo Short film festival, Molodist, La Habana, Biarritz, among others.

    In 2015, she released her documentary Whisper from a birch (Colombia-Rusia) winner of the Best film award at the International Documentary film festival (MIDBO 2016) and it was one of the opening films of the Cairo International Women's film festival (2015). She is working on her debut feature film El alma quiere volar supported by the Colombian Fund for film development.
