Maggie Shirk is a multidisciplinary artist and professional with experience as an actress, photographer, writer, and optometrist. Known for her versatility and thoughtful approach to her work, Maggie has steadily built a career in both the arts and health care.

She is recognized for her role as Veronica in the series Skeleton Crew, appearing in 42 episodes across four seasons. Her screen work also includes appearances on television series such as The Blacklist, Blue Bloods, Tommy, and FBI: Most Wanted. In independent film, Maggie has taken on a range of roles in projects like One Gun, Offstage Elements, A Double Take, and Sunrise Love. She also played a supporting role in the horror film The Night They Knocked, which earned multiple award nominations.

Recently, Maggie began exploring screenwriting. Her short film, Time Alone in Fear and Sadness, which she also stars in, has received multiple festival nominations and recognition. For her performance in the film, Maggie was awarded Best Actress in a Short Film at the Great Lakes Christian Film Festival. Influenced by works like The Handmaid's Tale and The Walking Dead, her writing often delves into themes of survival and human resilience.

In addition to her creative work, Maggie is an experienced headshot photographer and a practicing optometrist. She owns and operates her own eye care practice, balancing her medical profession with her artistic endeavors.
