Anita Star was born in Texas City, Texas, and spent her early childhood in Houston before her family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona when she was twelve. Growing up in Mesa, Arizona, Anita's formative years were shaped by both suburban grounding and a growing fascination with creative expression. She briefly lived in Culver City, California during high school, where her artistic curiosity began to expand.

In 2006, Anita moved to Seattle, Washington, before ultimately settling in Los Angeles in 2008. For more than a decade, she immersed herself in the city's cultural and creative pulse while developing her voice as a storyteller. During this time, Anita built a presence on YouTube, where her engaging personality and thoughtful variety of content cultivated a loyal audience.
