Mini bio

  • Erik Jorn Sundquist is an American actor known for his compelling performances across film, television, and theater. Born in Palo Alto, California, Erik's artistic inclinations were nurtured by his mother, Marion, who was born and raised in Elmsford, New York. She was a professional dancer (ballet/jazz/tap), performer, mezzo-soprano singer, and accomplished pianist. His father, George, an immigrant from Finland, instilled in him a passion for soccer, leading Erik to play in Germany and win an NCAA Division I national title with UCLA.

After graduating from UC Berkeley (highest honors) with a degree in political science, Erik pursued a successful career as a general contractor and developer. Encouraged by his wife, Renee, he transitioned to acting, making his professional debut as Robert Reimann in the "Cradle to Grave" episode of Criminal Minds (2009).

Erik's filmography includes roles in Notorious Nick (2021), and No Address (2025). He also appeared as General Gregarin in Carrion (2020) and as Eric Daley in War Path (2019), a performance that earned him a nomination for Best Villain in a Feature. Theater credits include Grace, by Craig Wright (Role of Karl), and Six Characters in Search of an Author.

Beyond acting, Erik is a passionate drummer with a love for heavy metal. A former semi-professional soccer player and certified commercial pilot, he brings a multifaceted background to his craft. With his mysterious good looks, compelling performances, and unmistakable on-screen presence, Erik Jorn Sundquist continues to captivate audiences-and perhaps give them just a little shiver along the way.
