Biography

Gazz Wood was born April 24th, 1984 in Selston, Nottinghamshire. His first foray into films was with a series of shorts directed by long-time collaborator Nick O'Mahoney which inspired him to attend Leeds Met University's Northern Film School from 2003 to 2006. After graduating Gazz began work his first feature film project, "Jesus F. Trotsky Presents... The Greatest Film Never Made", Co-Starring as 'Derren Vision'.

During the shoot for "JFT..." Gazz did not cut his hair to keep continuity and wore the same suit for duration, making him the only recurring character without a costume change. He was featured very briefly on French Television during their coverage of the Cannes Film Festival 2007 as part of the 'Johnny Kannes' segment, appearing as comedian Johnny's Bodyguard.

While shooting in Cannes, France for "Jesus F Trotsky Presents...", Gazz did not pack any clothes for the five-day trip and continued to wear his "Derren Suit" throughout in order to remain in character.
