Menelaos Pampoukidis is a VFX supervisor, film director and the co-founder of Koala FX.He has two MA film degrees from the Aristotelian University of Thessaloniki and MET Film School in London.
Before moving to London, UK he established himself as a music video and commercials director in Greece, where he founded Idea99 production.He has worked as a VFX supervisor for DAU - one of the biggest arthouse films projects ever created. It resulted in 13 feature films and 700 hours of interactive media platform footage. He successfully supervised his team in tackling the 3200 VFX shots spread across 700 hours. Two of DAU's features (DAU:Natasha and DAU:Degeneration) received awards at the Berlinale 2020. Having finished his work for DAU, he joined forces with his colleague Dasha Sherman and together they formed Koala FX.In less than 2 years Koala FX has worked with the leading streaming platforms (Amazon, Netflix, HBO, BBC and others) and the A-list talent (Wes Anderson, Marry Harron, Ben Kingsley, Elton John, Neal-Patrick Harris, etc), while quickly expanding into a great team of film professionals.
