Jamel Davall Rodriguez was born and raised in New York. He has worked in theater, film and television in New York, LA and London; mostly recently, acting in a new play workshop with Guadalis del Carmen at Yale Repertory Theatre and appearing in Spider-Man 4: Brand New Day.
His web series, My America, which he co-wrote and co-starred in (alongside Carmen Argenziano and Peter Macon) won best web series at festivals worldwide and was part of the Official Selection at the LA Film Festival, HollyShorts and SeriesFest.
Jamel trained at the Yale School of Drama.
