Victor Ostrovsky is the founder of TheBookPatch.com and handles the ISBN releases for the titles himself via his gallery, he's known for Black Ghosts, The Other Side Of Deception, and some others. He heard the frustrations of the authors who were tired of Lulu and CreateSpace lying to them and being an author he developed a project from the authors view.

Notables to join were the roster of The Ethereal Gazette: Issue Five (in turn one of the journalists from Spotlight (2015) and Steven Morgan are part of that roster), Mick Mercer, and a slew who came from the Xlibiris set. His artwork was noticed going far back as the 1990's and some of those coming to TheBookPatch.com noticed this and used his artwork to bring over the masses as the following on twitter rivals CreateSpace.
