Ex-Formula One racing driver, who raced for: Benetton (1989 (10 GPs)) and Scuderia Italia (1990 (14 GPs)-1991 (13 GPs)). He started 37 Grands Prix. Best and 3 Points. Best ranked in the World Championship: 18th in 1991.
He won the 24 Hours of Le Mans five times: 2000, 2001, 2002, 2006 and 2007.
Teammates in Formula One were: Alessandro Nannini, Andrea de Cesaris and JJ Lehto.
Emanuele Pirro is not related to motorcycle racer Michele Pirro.
