After growing up in the beautiful Australian countryside Joel moved to NYC where he performed in The Skin Of Our Teeth, in the role Montgomery Clift originated on Broadway.
Most notably, he dropped his weight to 121 lbs to play a Methamphetamine addict in Travis Jenkins (2013), played a lead in Lionsgate's Open Water 3: Cage Dive (2017) and traveled to the island of Saipan to star in Seven Days (2019) alongside three of China's biggest movie stars.
An increasingly sought after and successful screenwriter, producer & director, Joel has had a Marilyn Monroe inspired screenplay optioned, sold an action thriller to Sony Pictures, co-written & produced multiple features and is currently directing a new sitcom.
