Biography

Award winning, Colombian-born actress and model Ximena Duque first appeared on screen on the second season of Protagonistas de Novela, a reality show which offered a telenovela role to its winners. Ximena found her calling there, as she went on to star in more than 20 TV series and novelas. Among her most memorable performances are lead roles in Corazón Valiente, La Fan and Clarita, and supporting roles in Days of Our Lives and, most recently, Queen of the South. Known for her vivacious personality and sultry looks.

Was in serious relationships with Christian Carabias between 2003 and 2008, with whom she had one son, Cristan Carabias Duque (b. 2004), with actor Carlos Ponce between 2010 and 2015 and with her now husband Jay Adkins since 2016.
