Biography

Iris Torres, is a Mexican-American film producer with more than fifteen years of experience in the international film industry. Based in Los Angeles, she has built her career producing and supervising feature films across the United States, Canada, and Mexico, with experience spanning development, physical production, financing, post-production, and international co-productions.

Torres began her career in Vancouver, working on large-scale productions including Twilight and the Planet of the Apes franchise. She later joined James Franco's Company, Rabbit Bandini Productions, where she contributed to acclaimed independent films including Interior Leather Bar., In Dubious Battle, Goat, King Cobra, and Bukowski. Her experience also includes work on a production unit of Everything Everywhere All at Once, which went on to win seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture.

Throughout her career, Torres has collaborated with filmmakers, actors, investors, and production companies across the U.S. and Mexico, distinguishing herself through her ability to guide complex projects from financial structuring and planning through physical production and final delivery.

In addition to her work as a producer, Torres serves as Director of Industry for the GuadaLAjara Film Festival in Los Angeles (GLAFF), where she fosters strategic partnerships between the U.S. and Latin American film industries and promotes new opportunities for filmmakers and producers across both markets.
