Anna Menenakou

Anna Menenakou is a versatile actress with a significant presence in television, theatre, and film. Although her early childhood was divided between Piraeus and Crete, she later moved to Athens to pursue her passion for the performing arts. She attended the Iasmos Drama School under the guidance of Vasilis Diamantopoulos, from which she graduated in 2008. Her career gained momentum through a series of television roles in the late 2000s, but she achieved widespread recognition in 2011. This breakthrough was marked by her portrayal of a character from Crete in Piso sto spiti (2011), a role that showcased her comedic timing alongside established industry veterans. She later transitioned into more dramatic territory, notably joining the cast of the acclaimed crime procedural The Other Me (2019), playing a police officer-a role she reprised in subsequent installments of the franchise. On the theatrical stage, her professional trajectory was notably influenced by her performance in a production of Educating Rita in 2013, which earned her critical praise. Since 2016, she has been a key member of the long-running comedy production Le Dîner de Cons, which became one of the most commercially successful plays in contemporary Greek theatre. Beyond acting, she has been in a long-term relationship with director Sotiris Tsafoulias since 2018.
