Ben Willems(I)

Ben Willems (1957) started his career at the NOS in 1984 as a video editor. Two years later known as the NOB, Nederlands Omroepproductie Bedrijf, the facility company for the Dutch Public Broadcasters. After practicing for about 10 years the editor's profession, he started his management career in the Company . He has held various management positions. Willems is a specialist in the field of Post-production, specializing in television drama, documentary and film post-production. As operational manager he played an important role in the introduction of non-linear edit-systems at the NOB. Later he was part of the executive board of the privatized CIRIS with approximately 185 employees. As the COO he was responsible for the merge of five specialist departments of the former NOB into one new company. In 2006 he left CIRIS and together with three other founders, he founded Filmmore Amsterdam and was managing director and post-production specialist for over 8 years. Filmmore is a post-production company specialized in drama and film production based in the Netherlands and Belgium. Under his inspiring leadership, Filmmore has grown into the market leader in the field of image post-production for drama-series and feature-films in the Benelux.

Willems nowadays is Head of Film Production of the brand new company FEVERFILM, founded in 2018. A new full service post-production company based in Amsterdam. FEVERFILM is a merge of the former companies REDLINE and FILMDOC. FEVERFILM is specialized in the image and audio editing of TV series, documentary (films), feature films and drama series. After guidance the merge of both companies into one strong and healthy organization his new challenge is now making FEVERFILM an International leading company in Film post-production.
