- Kathryn Shasha ia a seasoned New York television and film actor. She joined Sag/Aftra in 2001 and is known for roles that demonstrate heart-led authority and fire when it counts. Even as a child Kathryn enjoyed performing. First as a USA competitive gymnast, then tap dancing and ballet in later years. She joined the National Thespian Society while she attended the Williams School. It is there, under the tutelage of Jane Martineau that Kathryn truly realized her love for acting . She has played both comedic and dramatic roles. In 2016, Kathryn, along with her peers, won the LA Webfest "Outstanding Ensemble Cast" award for her work as FBI Agent Cable in the dramatic series "Family Problems". She was nominated best actress for her work as Shelby, in the TV miniseries "Girl in the Attic" streaming on Tubi. Comically, she has played an eccentric acting coach in the film "East Coast Zombies", a "Southie" bartender in the sketch comedy series "Pizzer Makers" and a loud mouth Italian in the improvisational comedy theatre show "The Ginsburg and Baccigalope Wedding". She has been in over 100 commercials and was a spokesperson for the American Lung Associations' Fight for Air Climb for several years. She also has been the face of many PSAs, including the Harold Grinspoon foundation for reading advocacy. Most recently Kathryn was cast as Coretta Lynn is Nicole Thompson's feature film "Take Your Pills", Sharon in the film "Bar Car" directed my Kyle Marcel and Evelyn in Julian Ortiz's horror film "Confetti Canyon" Besides acting in film and TV for 25+ years; Kathryn is also an amazing teenager's mom, a loving wife and an animal lover who enjoys cooking family recipes of Lebanese and Italian food. Kathryn is grateful everyday for her loving family; daughter Mattia Lynn and supportive husband Michael.
