Chris was born as Christopher Perry Silva in Long Beach, California. Most of his early years were spent in the Palos Verdes area. He attended St John Fisher Catholic school. In 1980 his attorney father moved his practice to south Orange County.

Chris graduated from Laguna Hills High School and from Cal State Fullerton in 2003 with a BS in business administration. Chris worked at Fortune 500 companies Merrill Lynch and Mass Mutual.
