Margo Rey

Margo Rey is an actor and 9X charted Billboard Top 20 singer/composer, recording artist, producer, and arranger. One of Margo’s most notable songwriting partners is John Oates and together, they have penned several songs and charted two of Margo’s Top 20 hits, Let The Rain and Never 2 Late. In addition to her charted songs, she has written and recorded the number one most played indie, original Christmas song of the last decade, This Holiday Night. As a singer and actor, she has toured nationally and internationally and has sung in eight languages. In 2009 she co-founded her former record label, the indie, L.A. based, Organica Music Group (OMG), which bears the name of her self- defined, pop music genre. The Acapulco born, Dallas raised Mexican songstress, has returned to her roots as a Latin Jazz musician with her latest album, The Roots of Rey featuring multi Grammy winning, Oscar Hernandez of (The Spanish Harlem Orchestra) as pianist and arranger. Rey has once again cultivated another hybrid genre of music with her alluring and lush sonic journey into a bilingual Great American & Latin American songbook that is curated for the times. Margo enjoys a parallel career to her music as a successful actor. To many fans of animation, Margo is the voice of many well-known characters from, Beverly Hills Chihuahua, Xbox, Dreamworks, Star Field, Saint’s Row, DOTA2, Forza Horizon 5, Disney, Amazon originals and TLC. In the last 13 years, Margo has triumphed breast cancer twice and has shared her story as a healthy lifestyle spokesperson and philanthropist. She is happily based in Los Angeles working as an actor, singer, songwriter, recording artist and touring performer.
