Sarim Momin, pronounced as Saarim Momin, is an Indian filmmaker whose debut feature film, ARZI, won the award for Best Foreign Feature at the Hollywood International Moving Pictures Film Festival, along with several other awards. His next feature film as a director was ASEQ, a supernatural thriller which released on Jio and topped the listing for Horror.
His next is 'Eerie' a Psychological Genre-Bender.
One of his work as a writer includes the upcoming movie, 'Crakk', which stars Vidyut Jamwal, Nora Fatehi, Arjun Rampal, and others and is directed by Aditya Datt. His foray into writing web-series was with Hotstar's Karm Yuddh, which ranked among the highest-watched shows of the year.
Sarim has also worked in the past as a lyricist for many popular Bollywood movies, including Ram Gopal Varma's Sarkar and Priyadrshan's Bhagam Bhaag, and has worked with music directors like Pritam and Lucky Ali.
He started as an Urdu poet and was one of the youngest Urdu poets in India. He penned the "India" song for the Cricket World Cup 2004.
