Kevin R Wright is an independent producer and former Vice President of Production & Development at Marvel Studios. He served as Executive Producer on the Emmy-nominated Disney+ series Loki (2021-2023), starring Tom Hiddleston. Widely regarded as a flagship title of Marvel’s streaming slate, the series earned nine Emmy nominations across two seasons. Wright authored the original 30-page pitch that established many of the show’s foundational elements and oversaw the writing, production and post, shaping the series creatively from inception through marketing and delivery.
Wright began his career at Perfect Storm Entertainment, founded by Justin Lin, before rising through the ranks at Marvel Studios and being credited across 24 films and series over his near decade tenure. A Philadelphia native, he enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps shortly before 9/11 and served four years as a combat correspondent before earning a degree in Writing for Film & Television from the University of the Arts Philadelphia, graduating as valedictorian. In 2026 he and Hiddleston re-teamed on the wildly successful and genre breaking docudrama Pompeii: Out of Time for National Geographic, on which Wright serves as Executive Producer and co-writer.
