[press conference for Compartment Number 6 (2021) at the 2021 Cannes Film Festival, asked about the use of the song "Voyage, Voyage"] It's a famous song in Finland and it's still playing on the radio. Actually we got the idea when we were in Tallinn in a taxi and that song started to play. I was there with J-P Passi, my cinematographer, and he mentioned that this song should be in it and after that there was no turning back! I think that what I like in that song is this kind of combination of travelling, but also not just enjoying travelling, but this kind of loneliness or melancholy that it has, but combined with great disco-pop. So that was something I tried to achieve with the film also - that it's a bit melancholic but it still sounds like a disco.
