Zeb Halsell was born in Wichita Falls, Texas. He grew up on a ranch near what was once the inhabited town of Halsell, Texas. The town of Halsell was established in 1900 but later dissolved when the city of Wichita Falls condemned over 16,000 acres of land by eminent domain to build a lake that ultimately submerged the town underwater.
In 2006, Mr. Halsell moved to Los Angeles at the age of sixteen to get a jump start on college and pursue a degree in finance. Through mutual contacts he was prompted to get involved in the entertainment industry and has since appeared in numerous films, tv shows and commercials. Outside of entertainment, Mr. Halsell is involved in business endeavors in the energy and technology industries.
He is the CEO of Halsell Minerals, an exploration and production company in Dallas, Texas that specializes in the acquisition and divestiture of prolific oil and gas assets in the Permian Basin of West Texas. The company has done over 300 transactions totaling over $250 million in transactional value and has become one of the leaders in organic acquisitions in the energy industry.
He is also the Founder and CEO of Halsell, a proprietary software company that specializes in artificial intelligence and collaboration tools designed primarily to provide enterprise businesses with a workspace suite leveraging nationwide real estate data and conversational AI to increase productivity and streamline their workflow.
