Marilyn Morris(I)

Marilyn Morris CAS is an ADR and original dialogue mixer. Originally from Santa Cruz, Marilyn moved to Los Angeles and graduated from the USC School of Cinematic Arts. She specialized in ADR, dialogue, and voiceover recording at Bell Sound Studios, working her way from dub room technician to associate chief engineer. Marilyn worked at Skywalker Sound as a mix technician and editorial assistant, contributing to major franchises including Star Wars, the Marvel Cinematic Universe, and Pixar. She brought her expertise in ADR and loop group to Waterman Sound as their dedicated ADR mixer, receiving two CAS Award nominations for Ted Lasso and Cobra Kai. Marilyn was recruited by Netflix Animation as one of their inaugural in-house recording mixers. She contributed to the design of the new studios, performed user testing for their technology and workflows, and implemented standard recording practices for each show. Marilyn now works as an ADR mixer at Sony on their newly-renovated ADR 3 stage.
