Josh Nelson Youssef is a director, writer, and producer whose work spans film, immersive, and interactive storytelling.
He is the founder of Boona, a creative studio exploring new forms of storytelling. Most recently, Youssef co-directed Nevatars with Andy Serkis and co-wrote the project with Daniel Floren. Starring Josh Gad, Daisy Ridley, Steven Zahn, Kathleen Turner, Kelly Marie Tran, Aisling Bea, and others, Nevatars premiered in competition at the 2026 Venice International Film Festival.
Youssef previously served as Head of Immersive & Interactive at JuVee Productions, founded by Viola Davis and Julius Tennon. His work includes the Webby Award-winning IAGO: The Green Eyed Monster and projects spanning film, immersive media, and emerging forms of interactive storytelling.
