Daniel whose nickname is "Benny" was born in West Covina California. He
picked up the nickname Benny from a group of New York friends who took
this alias from the film "Carlitos Way", implying that he reminded them
of the young energetic "Benny Blanco from the Bronx". He attended film
school at Brooks Institute in Santa Barbara where he obtained a B.A
degree in Film graduating with honors and receiving a special
recognition award. During his college days he was mentored by the
fabulous Louie D who showed him the ropes and allowed him to work on
"Ironman 2" as a camera intern where he met Scott Whitbread, Jonathan
Taylor and many hardworking and respectable cameraman. Benny is a great
camera assistant and worth the hire. He had a chance to intern at
Panavision Woodland Hills Ca, where he learned new gear and tighten up
his love for camera assisting.
