Biography

Ben Bond is a writer, director and executive producer. He is co-creator and writer of upcoming historical TV drama series, 'Whisky Wars' (dir. Marc Forster), and also arms-race espionage drama, 'Brooklands' with US screenwriter and novelist, Lea Carpenter; he is writer and director of 'The Drifters' (2019), and writer of upcoming features 'The Giant of Ballymoghan', 'Orlando The Hungry One' and 'Ruby The Heartstealer'. Bond was executive producer on 'The Hungry' (Tiff2017), 'Say Your Prayers' (2020), starring Harry Melling and Sir Derek Jacobi, and most recently on Mark Jenkin's Rose of Nevada (Venice / TIFF 2025) starring George Mackay and Callum Turner. He is executive producer on Joshua James Richards ('Nomadland', 'The Rider') upcoming directorial debut 'The Swell'. Previously Bond has also written for award winning TV drama Skins and the feature film Killing Bono (dir. Nick Hamm) for Paramount. He serves as Executive Producer at award-winning UK production company Bosena, (Brit List Top 50 'ones to watch' 2025), and is an industry leader in the area of eco positive and circular economy, sustainable film-making. Ben was recently made a a permanent fellow of Bristol University film and television department.
