- Born in Miami, FL, Maggie attended Denison University in Granville, OH where she studied Theatre and Film. Maggie worked as an actor in Los Angeles from 2005-2016. With a life changing experience in therapy and the love of the arts, Maggie was called to get her Masters in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Expressive Arts Therapy from Lesley University in Cambridge, MA. Maggie now uses the arts to help kids identify feelings and process trauma. Maggie's thesis, Expressive Arts Therapy for Healing Gang Trauma: A Community Engagement, has over 500 scholarly downloads. In 2014 Maggie became a Magician member of The Academy of Magical Arts at The Magic Castle.
