Adrian Gorrissen didn’t just grow up wanting to be one thing-he wanted to be everything: a baseball player, a lawyer, an astronaut, a firefighter. Acting became the one path that could hold it all. Or maybe it started earlier, growing up backstage at a renowned repertory company, where storytelling was part of everyday life. Either way, the direction was inevitable.

Drawn to stories from a young age, Adrian brings curiosity, depth, and a grounded presence to every role. His work spans stage and screen, from intimate, character-driven moments to bold, imaginative worlds-always rooted in honesty and connection.

A member of CAEA and ACTRA, Adrian continues to build a versatile body of work across theatre, film, and television, establishing himself as a compelling and dynamic actor to watch.

Adrian's parents are former dancers with The National Ballet of Canada. Adrian was one of the first 'ballet babies' back in the 1970s.

Adrian has one younger sister, Cybele. Is the only male amongst his immediate cousins.

Adrian knew he wanted to be an actor. Having performers for parents meant Adrian spent a lot of time backstage at various theatres around the world and was exposed to all different aspects of the arts world starting at a very early age.

Loves baseball (especially the Toronto Blue Jays). If Adrian could choose any other career, he probably would have tried to be a major league baseball player.
