- She was a switchboard operator with the Valejo Police Department. On July 5, 1969, she received a call from somebody claiming to have murdered a young man and woman in Valejo. Upon investigation, the body of Darlene Ferrin was discovered, along with severely wounded Michael Majeau. Ferrin and Majeau were victims of the Zodiac Killer.
