- Maurice Nash is a British actor trained at L.A.M.D.A. (The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art). Known for his commanding screen presence and strong physicality, he is particularly suited to military officers, intelligence operatives, detectives, authority figures, and psychologically complex antagonists.
In early 2025, Maurice completed filming the Vietnamese feature film Sounds Crossing the Ocean, portraying the film's principal antagonist, Robert Monfort. Directed by Dao Duy Phuc, written by Dao Thuy Trang, and produced by Film No. 1 Joint Stock Company (Cong ty Co phan Phim truyen I), the film was released in the summer of 2026.
Maurice also portrays Detective Richard Dennehy in the anticipated mini-series The Land of Smiles, directed by Harald Frankling and produced by Avalon Media. The series is still in production.
Previously, Maurice appeared as Ryan Sutherland, the second lead in the 2019 action feature The Glorious Seven, which was later acquired by Amazon Prime.
Born to a British father and a Colombian mother, Maurice was raised bilingually and spent his early years in Colombia and Belize before completing his secondary education at a boarding school in Kent, England. His multicultural upbringing and international experiences have given him a broad perspective that continues to influence his work as an actor.
Beyond acting, Maurice is a black belt in Karate, a certified Hatha Yoga and Meditation teacher, a scuba diver, and a Tai Chi practitioner. He enjoys horse riding, travelling, and exploring different cultures.
Maurice is fluent in English and Colombian Spanish, has a high level of spoken Vietnamese, and continues to study the language. He also speaks conversational French.
