Michael Langan is an American writer-director whose films have screened at over a hundred festivals worldwide, including SXSW, Slamdance, Palm Springs ShortFest, and Clermont-Ferrand. His work has been described as "confounding and fascinating" by The New York Times, "inventive" by The Atlantic, and "eerily beautiful" by NPR. Langan's films have been broadcast on Showtime, Canal+, Arte, NHK, Channel 4, and Adult Swim, and have received multiple Vimeo Staff Picks and Short of the Week selections. He has directed commercials for Nike, Samsung, and Pepsi, and collaborated with Reggie Watts, Brett Gelman, and haute couture designer Iris van Herpen.
