Biography

Bianca D’Ambrosio is an Emmy-nominated actress and three-time Emmy-nominated producer. She began her career with her breakout role as Summer Newman on CBS’s The Young and the Restless. She has since appeared in NBC’s Parks and Recreation and Guys with Kids; Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn, Game Shakers, and See Dad Run; Disney’s The Savages and Freak Out; CBS’s Criminal Minds; FX’s Legit; Comedy Central’s The Jeselnik Offensive; and TNT’s The Closer.

Her film credits include Lionsgate’s Fear of Rain opposite Katherine Heigl and Harry Connick Jr., Justin Long’s Lady of the Manor, and AMC Shudder’s Slapface. Bianca portrayed Kate Mara’s daughter in Call Jane, which premiered at the Sundance and Berlin Film Festivals alongside Elizabeth Banks and Sigourney Weaver. She also stars opposite her twin sister Chiara in High Heat with Olga Kurylenko and Don Johnson, and appeared in Bon Jovi’s What Do You Got music video.

In 2025, Bianca co-wrote, starred in, and produced the family feature The Ring of Kibo, starring John O’Hurley. Since 2019, she has portrayed Frankie Sanders on the Emmy-winning series The Bay. Shortly after joining the show, she began producing, and by Season 10 became a series regular and a member of the writing team.

Beyond acting, Bianca is a graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, where she earned a double major at 19 yrs old , Dean's list, DKA Member and Tri Delta Sorority. She is attending Law School. She is the co-founder of Mirror Image Films ,member of the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, Television Academy, and SAG-AFTRA. She is also deeply passionate about animal rights and related advocacy issues.
