Christie Taylor is a Memphis-based writer, director, and media creative whose storytelling journey spans radio, film, and television. She co-wrote the 2010 feature N-Secure, distributed by 20th Century Fox, marking her debut in screenwriting at the studio level.
In 2025, Taylor made her directorial debut with The Coffee Shop, a heartfelt short film developed through On Location: Memphis's Movie Production program. The film premiered at Malco Cordova Cinema Grill, streamed on SweetSpireTV and OnLocationMemphis.org, and was selected for the Tennessee International Indie Film Festival. Her earlier writing credits include the indie shorts Askari (2015) and Smile (2017).
Before filmmaking, Taylor built a celebrated career as a radio personality across Detroit, Memphis, Birmingham, and St. Louis. She is the creator and host of The Christie Taylor Show and founder of Christie Taylor Consulting, where she coaches creatives and professionals in communication, media, and storytelling.
