- Jacqui began her career in costume design as an assistant to Milena Canonero (Godfather III) and Beatrix Aruna Pasztor (My Own Private Idaho) and is known for working as a costume designer/stylist in the 90's on numerous music videos for artists such as Beastie Boys, Daft Punk, Fatboy Slim, Green Day, many of The Strokes videos and dozens of commercials. In 1999, Jacqui designed the costumes for Francis Ford Coppola's musical Gidget.
She took a break from costume design to raise her daughter and work in fashion. She has been a style influencer, connecting people and a well-known hostess for Halloween parties/parties and fashion dinners. She worked as a contributing editor for Harper's Bazaar from 2002-2010 and C Magazine from 2015-2017, Wall Street Journal Magazine from 2017-2019, shot with many incredible photographers such as Lisa Eisner for Oliver Peoples. She was on the Best Dressed list many times in the 2000's.
Jacqui's homes are in many books and magazines (she designed them herself).
On her daughter's film Palo Alto, Jacqui was a costume consultant and directed the behind-the-scenes documentary Palo Alto. Her daughter and family persuaded her to return to costume design for films and commercials.
Jacqui helps rescue and foster animals.
