Pierre Soulages was born on 24 December 1919 in Rodez, Aveyron, France. He was an actor, known for Outrenoir (2026), Les vitraux de Soulages (1994) and Pierre Soulages: Black Light (1998). He was married to Colette Llaurens. He died on 26 October 2022 in Nîmes, Gard, France.

Painter, sculptor, draftsman and stained-glass artist.

He studied at the school of fine arts in Montpellier, where he met his wife, a fellow student.
